Just recently, Night Hawk Security and Consulting had the honor of participating as a Very Important Kid Sponsor for the Holt Brothers Foundation. The Holt Brothers Foundation focus is to help children who have a parent with cancer and to bring awareness to the many facets of cancer and what it can do to a family. The Holt Brothers Foundation mission is to support the following programs:
The Foundation’s main program, KidsCan!, provides education, emotional support, peer empathy and inspiration during monthly group meetings. Working with local hospitals, facilitators help kids understand the disease and deal with their emotions. The kids also benefit by knowing they are not alone.
The Foundation also supports Camp Kesem, a sleep-away camp for children ages 6–16, all of whom have a parent with cancer.
With that being said, I just wanted to shed some light on an awesome organization right here in the Triangle who are doing awesome, life saving work with the children in our community.
